A service is any distinct telemetry source you connect, typically corresponding to one application or microservice. For Datadog, this maps to a service name in your metrics. For Prometheus, it maps to a job label. You can connect as many integration sources (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus) as you want, but each service monitored within those sources counts toward your tier limit.

After 14 days, you can choose to continue on any paid tier or move to Starter (free). No credit card is required to start, so nothing is charged automatically. We send a reminder email 3 days before your trial ends.

Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings. Monthly subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions are not prorated, but you keep access through the end of the year you paid for.

Incident data is stored securely and is available for the retention period of your tier. If you downgrade, older incidents outside your new retention window become read-only for 30 days, then are deleted. You can export all incident data at any time from the settings panel.
